Empowering education through
community partnerships.

The Averill Park Education Foundation funds educational and cultural initiatives and enrichment programs that advance student achievement and encourage teacher development.

We enthusiastically empower our school community with grants that engage, inspire, and promote learning and innovation in the classroom and beyond.

APEF grants provide exceptional opportunities for growth, discovery, and creativity by eliminating barriers and optimizing the power of potential – from robotics to ceramics, lab equipment to construction technology equipment, cultural events to guest speakers, and so much more.

We're on an exciting mission. Join Us!

What an honor and delight to receive an invite to Averill Park Central School District’s Miller Hill Elementary last Friday, February 16, as students enjoyed an engaging presentation by author, Bruce Coville🤓 In 2023, our board was proud to fund a grant enabling each 4th grader to receive a signed copy of one of Bruce’s books, and be treated to a 1 hour presentation with Bruce.

What a blast and so wonderful to meet such a legendary children’s author! Thank you, Mrs. Deo and the rockstar 4th grade teachers and students for allowing us to join in on the fun ☺️📚 Thank you, Bruce, for a wonderful experience! Reading is magical ✨
